STRUCTURE: Athletes will complete 75 Overhead Squats for time. Athletes will also have to complete a 400 Meter Run every 3:00 starting on the 0:00.
STIMULUS: “Sunny and 75” is a Threshold workout.
STRATEGY: Athletes should complete 400 Meter Runs in 2:00 or faster leaving at least 1:00 to Overhead Squat.
SCALING: Athletes should choose a barbell weight they can Overhead Squat unbroken for 20+ reps unbroken.
SCORING: Athletes’ score will be the Time it takes to complete 75 Overhead Squats. Athletes should aim to finish in 12-18 Minutes.
Athletes should Run at a pace that allows them to pick up the barbell right away
-Athletes should aim to hold onto unbroken sets of Overhead Squats at a controlled and breathable pace
