DESCRIPTION
STRUCTURE: “Team Glen” is a repeat and hero workout we last completed last 7/2/21. Teams will start by completing 60 Clean & Jerks, one partner working at a time, before both athletes run 1 Mile together. Following that mile, athletes will come back in for 20 Rope Climbs, one partner working at a time, when those reps are completed teams will run their second mile together. The workout ends with 100 Burpees, one partner working at a time. Athletes must wait for both partners to finish the run before continuing on to the next movement.
At CFNE, we will run individual “Glen” in 1.5 hour classes. This is written as a team version to fit the whole workout into a 1 hour timeline.
STIMULUS: “Team Glen” is a * Pacer Threshold* workout.
STRATEGY: 60 Clean & Jerks should be completed in 6:00 or less. Each Mile should be completed in 9:00 or less. 20 Rope Climbs should be completed in 5:00 or less. A set of 100 Burpees should be completed in 8:00 or less.
SCALING: Athletes should choose a weight on the barbell that they are comfortable completing small sets or quick singles, allowing for a quick back and forth between partners. Athletes should

EFFICIENCY TIPS
“Team Glen”
-Most partners should at least alternate every rep on Clean & Jerks and Rope Climbs then switch every 5+ Burpees. Fast Partners should Hang on to small sets of Clean & Jerks and alternate rope climbs then switch every 10+ Burpees
-Runs are the recovery
-Former U.S. Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, 42, of Winchester, Massachusetts was assigned to a State Department security detail in Benghazi, Libya, and died in an attack on a U.S. consulate on September 11, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Ben and Barbara, sister Katie, and brother Greg.
